Codie Allen - Codie Allen is from Campbellsville, Kentucky. Coming from a long line of musicians, Codie grew up listening to a wide variety of music but has always been especially attracted to bluegrass music. In Highschool Codie decided to learn banjo, instantly falling in love with it. While attending Campbellsville University he formed “Kentucky Heart”, which played together for two years. After “Kentucky Heart” split up he founded and led “Redwire Bluegrass” for the next two years. Redwire is currently recording their debut album. Codie is excited to be playing with The Kevin Prater Band and excited for the opportunity.
