Codie Allen - Campbellsville, Ky
Codie Allen is a 24-year-old Banjo Picker from Campbellsville, KY. Codie comes from a. musical family, with his father being a guitarist. He started playing the banjo at age 16. Early on was most inspired by Ralph Stanley, but later discovered Earl Scruggs, J.D Crowe, and Jim Mills, which cemented his desire to be a bluegrass musician.
Codie is the foundation of the K.P.B. His hard driving banjo playing, strong baritone vocals, and determined attitude make him a vital part of both our stage show, and travel. Between his side project with Redwire bluegrass, and his degree in Classical Saxophone Performance, Codie stays pretty busy. In Fact, Codie's been to 4 countries playing music professionally. We're very happy to have Codie on board and can't wait to see where he goes in the future.
